A beautiful, old red brick building situated on a leafy corner at the end of James Street, with ample outdoor seating.

Bitter Suite is the ideal venue for your function. We can do sit-down dinners for up to 30 people and stand-up cocktail functions for up to 60 people. We have amazing food, all made from scratch in our kitchen and a great array of drinks from craft beer to boutique wines to amazing house cocktails.

For cocktail functions, we set the area up with some barrels to stand around, some high-tops with stools, some lower tables, perhaps a sofa, and plenty of standing room. That way there is something for everyone and plenty of room to mingle.

For a sit-down meal for large groups, we offer either shared tapas at a set price per head (a steady stream of shared dishes which is fun and gives you a great range of dishes) or we do a set-menu which includes shared entree’s, a choice of 4 (individual) mains and then shared sides.
