Located on the second floor of the historic Old Rum Store, the space designed by international award-winning architects LAVA (Masdar, Martian Embassy), features a contemporary indoor dining-room with charming, exposed brick and adorning loft-style windows that flood the venue with natural light. A tiled ‘passeggiata’ (promenade) curves through the restaurant and connects the kitchen, bar, dining and rooftop areas.

At the heart of Olio is Sicilian-born, award-winning chef Lino Sauro who comes from a long lineage of self-sufficient Sicilian farmers. Lino grew up with home cooked meals that were created with the quality produce grown on his family property. This translates into Sauro’s menu with dishes that focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and reflect a strong connection to his Sicilian roots.
