The Mill Restaurant opened in August 2006, quickly gaining a reputation as one of Hardware Lane’s best restaurants, and was proud to be featured in The Age Good Food Guide, gaining an entry just 4 months after opening. The Mill offers modern Australian cuisine at its finest and uses the best ingredients possible, proudly supporting fresh Australian produce.

The Mill Restaurant has a beautiful dining room and a large bar casual dining area which seats 40 to 70 standing. Both areas are available for private hire excluding the dining room on Friday or Saturday nights. Guests are welcome to run a bar tab and platters of food can be arranged.

The Mill is a perfect venue for a wedding venue or special celebration, the building oozes old world charm and personality imagine, canapés and aperitifs on the upper floor with the floor to ceiling doors opened out onto the laneway, listening to the jazz band, followed by cocktails and dancing downstairs in Charlie's Bar.
